Workshop SF's Chandelier
September starts tomorrow? Say what? Seems just like yesterday I was making New Year’s resolutions to get Sexy 2011 off and running. Now, I’ve got two months until my half marathon and four months until 2012.
And while I’m sure the greatest adventures are still to come (stay tuned…), here are some highlights from the month of August worth noting:
1. I experienced my first Red Sox and Steelers bars in San Francisco. Both teams won the day I was in attendance, just sayin’.
2. Took my first class at the fantastic Workshop with the dynamic duo Fox & Doll, and learned all about how to create the perfect ‘sex kitten’ look.
3. Patronized my first speakeasy.
4. Sang the Spice Girls’ “If You Wanna Be My Lover” at karaoke. The highlight of the night, however, was not my singing, but the accompanying video of seagulls eating trash.
5. Attended BlogHer in San Diego, which gave me a kick in the butt to restart this sucker right here.
All in all, a pretty good month — though, can anyone sense a common thread among all of the above? Anyone care to join me for a drink? No?
